Residential Fencing Options

Wood Privacy Fencing

Wood privacy fencing serves many purposes around the home. It helps to ensure the security of your family, your home & your belongings. It also helps to control wind, noise, and it keeps unwanted pests and animals out of your yard. The many different styles of wood privacy fencing gives it maximum versatility to match nearly any architectural design.

Spaced Picket Fencing

Spaced picket fencing gives a provincial feel to any home, and is generally used to define the boundaries in front and side yards. This type of fencing has several design options, such as smooth faced, rough faced or a rounded design, as well as several options for picket design.

Shadowbox Style Fencing

Shadowbox fencing has a unique design. Boards are fastened to either side of the top and bottom rail in an alternating fashion which serves several purposes. The main purpose of this style is to disrupt airflow. Solid wood fences don’t block wind, as it just moves over the top of the fence. But, with a shadowbox design, the wind is disrupted, making a large gust into several smaller, more comfortable breezes. The second purpose of this design is privacy. Normally, this type of fence is between 4′, 6′, and 8′. The fence is coupled with the alternating board design, which blocks most of the view of your yard.

Cap and Trim Fencing

For a more custom fence, cap and trim style fencing is another great addition to any property line. In most cases, it is generally a 4′, 6′, or 8′ high solid wood privacy fence with a flat cap and trim boards secured underneath to provide a clean, finished fence line that is not only pleasing to the eye, but also adds a measure of strength and stability to your privacy fence.

Wood Fence Sealing and Preservation

Northwest Arkansas Fence Staining and Sealing NewLife WoodPreserve by FenceCo is a seal process appropriate for any wood fence, deck or wood siding on your home. Our NewLife WoodPreserve treated helps protect your outdoor wood products in much the same way that mother nature uses the natural oils and saps in trees to protect them from the earthly elements. NewLife WoodPreserve is NOT a stain. Stains use mineral spirits as a carrier and an iron oxide pigment. None of which is safe for the environment. Also, stains are not able to penetrate wood very deep and therefore is not a proper choice for long term care of your investment. The trans-oxide pigment in NewLife WoodPreserve is carried by a 100% natural-based oil. The natural-based oil is the same type of oil used in soaps, suntan lotions and saddle soaps. It’s even used in the hydraulics of machinery used in food processing plants.
